Meet Dr. AshleyDr. Ashley Carmenia is a public health professional and subject matter expert with over 14 years of experience and education in community health education and promotion. She specializes in health equity, population health, chronic and infectious disease, and women's/maternal health. She has progressive experience in leading and managing the complexities and challenges of diverse operational initiatives -- ranging from local place-based work to state and federal levels. She has created and managed multiple programs and initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and equity in populations most impacted by health disparities. Her innovation and expertise has been highlighted both locally and nationally by multiple outlets, such as Cabarrus Health Alliance, Atrium Health, NC MedAssist, USA Today and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
